The paging unit is a complete on-site paging system with built-in or external Motorola radio transceiver. Designed for a wide range of application, from 100 to 20000 pagers, it may accept paging requests from its numeric keypad or alphanumeric keyboard, RS-232 data inputs, DTMF telephone port with voice prompts, alarm inputs, TNPP and TAP protocols. The paging unit is at home on a receptionist or operator’s desk. Sending a message to a pager is as quick as keying in a few numbers and pressing the enter key. Talking to a Two-way radio is easy using a speaker phone with the paging unit’s built-in microphone.

2. Visiplex: the Visiplex VS3100 can handle from a small office to a large plant.

Through the use of Visiplex paging, it is possible to contact people immediately over the phone or through your own LAN (Local Area Network) connection to the paging system. With the LAN paging interface, anyone on the office network can type and send a full text message to anyone that carries one of the system's Alphanumeric pagers. The full text message is received on a pager within a few seconds, quickly informing people of meetings, meeting time changes, cancelled appointments, calls from clients, etc.
